hey there!  Welcome. 

I just wanted to start off by introducing myself.  I am Amanda, a mama / farm wife / maker / pharmacist, and probably some other titles I am missing, but that's enough to get started.  I am a mama to two cute kiddos, Charlie, 4, and Truett, 1 & 1/2.  My husband, Ben, and I farm / ranch on a 3rd generation farm in south central Kansas.  Recently a "retired" pharmacist, just using my hands to make.

So how did Breathe & Create Co. start?  Well, it started with a pretty big bout of post-partum anxiety on my part.  I had our baby boy March 2020, yes, when the pandemic hit.  Between post-partum anxiety that hit pretty hard and trying to figure out how to handle a world-wide pandemic, I needed an outlet.  I was craving slow.  So, we took the leap and we decided it was time for me to stay home with our babies, be around the farm more, then I started doing the one thing I hadn't done in 4 years since having babies, I started using my hands to make things again.  I told my husband that I wasn't sure where it would go, but I wanted to try selling what I was making (mostly because I probably didn't NEED to keep it all to myself, though I wanted to hahaha).  When I am creating, I can breathe.  I have to slow down and focus on my hands.  It allows me to crank up the praise music and just sit in it, rather than letting my head run in 100 different directions like it normally would.

Long story short, thank you.  Thank you for being here.  Thank you for supporting my small business.  I truly get so much joy creating beautiful things for you.
